Dr Donna Hawthorne (University of St Andrews) explains the interest of the palaeo team’s expedition to the north of the Republic of the Congo, as they work to understand the history of the central Congo peatlands.

CongoPeat seeks an enthusiastic MSc by Research student to work alongside the project team on rates of root growth (below ground fine root production) at our key field sites in the Republic of Congo.
